Gone June

PS: Recently, I have been busy but also made progress. I will continue to buy some media and it's time to buy some Chinese internet companies.

I woke up a little early today. It was still quiet outside the window, occasionally interrupted by the sound of car horns. If you listen carefully, you can also hear the noise from the construction site in the distance. After a month, I started waking up early again. It may be a reflection on myself. Writing or not writing is a different matter. Accumulation is a continuous process.

In the past month, which is June, my self-discipline in life has been poor. I have been in a state of lying flat. I often find excuses for myself. The most obvious thing is that my attention is always attracted by unimportant things, especially the anxiety and boredom created by the repetitive copywriting in short videos. Although I don't usually watch short videos, sometimes I can't help but be attracted and influenced by this information. In the end, it is still my own lack of effective self-discipline. This is something to pay attention to in the future self-discipline checklist.

In terms of work, most of the time is spent debugging, mostly dealing with bugs left by legacy code. This takes up a lot of time, naturally resulting in less technical output. After all, technical output requires a certain amount of time. Of course, this is reasonable during working hours. In the two choices, we must follow the principle of prioritizing important matters. Otherwise, being busy without focus, remember not to waste time on ineffective work arrangements.

A month is such a long time, but it seems so short when summarized. In the river of time, everyone is the same. If you don't leave something behind, or think about something, it really is just a momentary thing. Time is fair to everyone, but the productivity per unit of time is indeed different for individuals. Some people produce more in a unit of time, while others produce less. This may be the difference in each person's utilization of time, and it is also the difference between people. In the midst of busyness, take some time to arrange your own schedule and you will benefit greatly.

In addition, this month I used procrate to copy an illustration. From draft to line drawing, and then to coloring, I made changes and improvements. After practicing by deleting and redrawing, I finally completed my first illustration. I hope I can continue to persist in the future and slowly develop a set of techniques that suit me. This is the only highlight of this month.

To summarize, the things I need to do after today are as follows:

  • In daily life, go to bed and wake up early. If you wake up early, besides turning off the alarm clock, don't open your phone again to avoid distractions.
  • Set small goals for technical learning and try to complete them within a specified time. Don't spread out the learning, it's scattered and inefficient, and lacks focus.
  • Continue practicing illustration. There is no shortcut, only continuous practice. The only requirement is to spend some time on it every week.

Repeating the above three points, I know I definitely won't be able to complete more, hehe.

Well, that's all I'm going to write.
